Gilford Corporation’s international capabilities include traditional competitive bid, performance-based contracts, construction management services, and complete turn-key Design / Build services for clients all over the world, often in under-developed countries or high-risk areas. Projects include new construction, renovations, security initiatives, as well as mechanical and electrical efforts.

Design development services include conducting needs assessments, performing site surveys, developing preliminary designs, providing value engineering, as well as developing cost estimates and detailed project schedules. Gilford Corporation can also create presentations to assist clients in marketing the project to stakeholders.

Gilford Corporation prepares specifications and full construction documents using architects and engineers that are familiar with environmental and other conditions in each venue. Gilford’s services include procuring required construction materials as well as facilitating export, shipping, in-country customs clearances, taxes, and local freight logistics of same.

Job site mobilization includes establishing a construction office with state-of-the-art communications devices, employing translators to work with our site managers / superintendents, and facilitating hiring of local labor as appropriate to reduce project costs. Gilford Corporation superintendents provide full-time, on-site management throughout the course of each project to ensure adherence to design intent as well as customer satisfaction. As in all of our projects, Gilford is committed to maintaining safety and adheres to all OSHA and USACE standards and practices. Gilford Corporation facilitates permitting with local governments and provides complete closeout documentation including as-built record drawings, owners manuals, certifications, warranties, test results, etc.
